This is our first hatch attempt with an incubator. 4 days in, our incubator broke and we ended up with a friend's Farm Innovator Deluxe Digital Incubator. They are very dark BCM eggs so have been impossible to candle. This is a dry hatch. Tomorrow is day 18/Lockdown. What's your best advice to raise the humidity for a dry hatch lockdown? Thank you!

Depends on the type of incubator how to do it, but raising the humidity to 65-70% is important.

The instruction manual should give you all the information you need to handle this incubator.

BCM eggs often take a day longer to hatch, so don't get impatient and leave the incubator alone. ;)

HI!
As I posted originally, the incubator this batch was in broke on day 4 and we eventually got the eggs transferred, but really weren't expecting any to hatch. I am happy to report that from 2:45 p.m. yesterday to 7:20 p.m. this evening, we have 7 very lively chicks!!!
