First meal from my chickens.

I know it's a little thing but I just wanted to share. I had my first meal from my chickens today. Eggs from the girls (19 weeks old) and tomatoes from my garden. It was so good. I've never had eggs that were layed 8 hours ago. I even went out and thanked them.

that's funny! my birds are confined, but I have to watch out for the dog eating the berries. I swear, he picks them right off the canes.

The Prickly Pear Cactus fruit are ripe right now. My girls and I made two dozen pint jars of jelly this week.

The Muscadines should be getting ripe soon as well.
