First Mealworms!

Sorry no pics! But it was so cute seeing them eat them! Josie, the BO, was the piggy... like always! If there are treats, she gets most of them! She is the top chick though. Melody and Valerie, the RIR, got one each I think. How many mealworms do you give as treats? The girls are about 3 weeks. I got 2 out for each one, but then got a couple more out since Josie got most of them. I sound like such a Mom! lol

I love watching my chickens go crazy over worms

and cute at the same time. Cause my chickens spend literally 10 minutes somtimes just chasing the one who has a worm

It has been my experience that overfeeding mealworms to young chicks can cause diahrhea. Go slow at first, one or two max.

next time you could try holding your little piggy and letting the rest get their share first. then, put her down and she will get the rest.
