I have a new mother in and she layed her first egg but I saw the rooster walk all over it and it seem she didnt care for the egg so I wonder is this cause maybe the rooster didnt make the egg with her cause I use laying feed does this matter? And this is a stupid question but a baby chick cannot be made if she makes an egg on her own with laying feed? Or can it be? Can someone help me plz!

The eggs are not important to them unless the hen goes broody and wants to hatch. A hen that is laying eggs should be on layer feed.

And many hens will never go broody. The egg will be fertile, and hatch into a chick if incubated, most any time a rooster and hen are housed together. It's a matter of whether he mates with her and whether the structures are working correctly -- the rooster is fertile, etc. The vast majority of the time, things work correctly.
