I have four 6 week old leghorns. I live in Texas and am expecting a low of 73 tonight. my husband and I had to help them go in at dark but they finally did after we turned a light on for them in the coop. Should I leave that light on or turn it off.

I left some light on in our coop for your young ones, it just helps them see and get used to their new surroundings.
Plus they follow the light and act like it’s a heat lamp and will go to it.

If they are settled in there for the night, then turn it off.
