First Night in their Coop....I'm SO nervous!!!

My husband works for the phone co. so anything that runs with phone line interests him... LOL Hang in there - my husband won't admit it but he likes having chickens almost as much as I do. He lets them out in the morning - the big two outside and the little ones into their enclosed pen - he doesn't know it but I have seen him being so gentle and sweet with them! Went out at 6 a.m. and they were all fine!!! I know, I know, it is only the first night, but I'm still happy! They were still asleep when I opened the door and they were nice and warm to the touch. It went into the 50's here last night so I was a bit concerned about that too. But they are 10 weeks old and haven't been using a heat lamp for a few weeks now. We are heading out soon to work on the run again today! Once it is all done, I'll post some pics

We must know more about this camera!!! What kind is it? How much did he spend??? I can run phone wire!!!

http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3932557 This is the camera. We didn't shop around - maybe you could find it cheaper? We were at the mall and he was looking at them. Open the box if you get a different one - they don't all run with phone wire! This one is spliced a couple of times (with little red splice things) and the picture sound quality are still great! It does not need electric on the coop end! We tried a wireless one when we first put them out in the coop but it was just a little far and the picture would barely come in. We really do enjoy having it! About 5 minutes ago my youngest son watched a chicken lay an egg!
