Do I separate them if I have to leave? Is it safe for him to stay in there with the other one

If you have already introduced them and they didn't fight then you can leave them together as long as you wish. No need to separate!

The new one is just as young but bigger bc he's a diff duck. I step out of the room and both go nuts. Got to get housework done and get kids from school. Will they get over it? Also what kind of bulb will keep them warm but wnt over heat them? It's Texas and nice out but inside my house its not cold at all. I guess I need a ducks for dummies book.
