I have a Standard Cochin that went broody and I decided to put some of the EE eggs under her. Only 8. Yesterday the first one hatched but did not live. I am not too sure why. I have a lorage tub inside an extra, extra large dog crate and she had push all the way to the rear with the remaining eggs and the baby was to the front. Not to sure if she unsure of what to do ot if I need to be doing something else. This is a first time for both of us.
