First outing

Today was the first really nice sat we had and I got my gazebo up
So it was time to bring this group of 3 out
Floyd, pixie and daphne

Sally my oldest hen somehow always knows when I have a new group out and she comes to greet them
She has always been good with.new members of the flock . Though they are in the inside of the gazebo and she is outside

After a few minutes the little ones decided outdoors wasn't so scary and are wandering around the inside of the gazebo

Funny as I was putting posing this they realized how wonderful the sun feels and are all stretched out in it

Isn't it gratifying when our babies first realize the joy of being chickens? I don't know why it always thrills and somewhat surprises me.

It is so awesome to watch. Especially when they realize hey. I can peck and scratch at this green stuff coming out of the ground
And this warm light from the sky rocks lol
