First pip, and peeping!

I was shocked to find the first pip on my egg, and the little guy occiasionally peeps! I'm so excited! Any advice on what I should do to ensure a normal hatch? I've raised the humidity.. anything else I can do? How long does it normally take to get out of the egg?

I really don't know any answers to your questions but my eggs just started pipping also.

Hey!
We are supposed to have chick hatch tomorrow, except the temp was so low, I figured it would be Wednesday.

And we have TWO that we just noticed about an hour ago that are pipped, and one peeping!

It must be a magical day!

BTW, what kind are you hatching? These are cochin, possibly frizzled.

Humidity is supposed to be up, but i can't seem to get mine over 62%.

Average time out of the shell is about 4 -6 hrs, but it seems mine have always taken longer.

I got a Rhode Island Red and some black and white ones ( I don't know what they are called) I am soo excited

A third has pipped, it is a silkie, but the other two are still not any further along from what I can tell!
I've got to find something else to do other than staring at the incubator!

Update: Two Cochin's buff and gray, and now 11 more pipped!
