First Pip

Read this thread yesterday.
Read the part about playing the chick sounds for them. Thought I would try.
My duck eggs had internally pipped by yesterday morning but hadn't caught them even wobble all day, but I wasn't watching them constantly . So last night about 11 I found a duck and a cricket ring tone on my phone and started alternating back and forth playing both for them , the next thing I know one starts wobbling and peeping, a few minutes later on another egg I received my first external pip.
Now I have two still waiting on 3 more.
They haven't made a whole yet
But they are still talking here and there
I keep playing the ring tones for them
To incourage them.

Wow, that's a good number. How many eggs did you have total go into lockdown?

Another pip an hour ago,
And my crickets are making another one rock

I had 11 go into lockdown. One more zipping but 2 haven't done anything. I miscounted I have 8.
Still happy. These babies stayed in the post over the weekend when they we shipped to me.
