Never been a member but have come to you many times with questions since we decided to start a flock a couple years ago! You've always answered them. There are questions & answers on practically any topic here.
Living in Oregon on a 2+ acre paradise with fruit trees, gardens and our birds. We were fairly clueless but the chickens seem pretty forgiving. Since getting them we have a ready source of entertainment. Who knew they were such fun to watch? We are planning to pick up a few new birds in the next week or two, our original six have really slowed in egg production. Also, would love to try a turkey or two this year but have heard disturbing info about chicken diseases and turkeys...
Three Rhode Island Reds
Three Australorps
One adopted Leg Horn
One adopted Ameraucana
One Great Dane
One grandson to keep them all entertained.
