Raised chicks for the first time. Got them May 11 and just lost 5 of the 6. Three were in the yard and two I cannot find. What kind of predator might I be dealing with? Predator got into the run

It was in Kentucky around 8:00Sorry for your losses.
It might help if you tell where you live.
And the approximate time it happrned.
Where I live it probably would have been a fox or a dog.
If there is very little blood, and no one taken it could be a mink/weasel if your area has them.It was in Kentucky around 8:00
I hope the 2 that are missing are just hiding.I would search the area good and see if you can find them. The remaining chicken needs to be kept in a secure area because whatever it was will be back.If you checked her close for injuries and she's eating and drinking good you can return her to the coop once you have secured the run.THis could be a dog attack if 2 are hidingRaised chicks for the first time.
