First pullet egg!!

Yay! I got my first egg from my buff orpingtons today! They were hatched on April 25, so I knew it would be soon, but it was still a very nice surprise this afternoon when I found it. It is a lovely brown egg, and not as small as I thought it'd be.

That's great to hear!!! My flock (born mid-april) is laying, but only 4/13 of them. It is soo exciting!

Update!!! Just got the second egg!!! Two on the first day!!! It was in a nest box, so they are figuring things out quite quickly. They've only been in the new coop since Friday afternoon so it's all new to them.
