Im in little italy. But nyc sucks today thanks to 3 bought terms of bloomberg. Leave it to him and he'd ban all egg laying and breeding. Cant wait to buy property upstate to take this further but thanks also to govt cuomo upstate is turning liberal and being run to the ground.

Newsflash 2nd egg dropped yesterday, less than 24hrs after egg 1. Giant snowstorm hitting us tonite-**** I need that incubator...anyone else within the storm belt? Its HUGE.

Ok 3rd egg in 3 days dropped yesterday and today I just ordered a hova bator 1602n with fan , lcd temp/humi reader, and turner from ebay. Should come in a week or so, gonna split the two males and add 4 more hens to give them that 3:1. Will report upon receipt of the bator woohoo.

Your first week may be sporadic but you should at least 1 a day. Mine sometimes lay 2 a day. But once they all start laying it's pretty consistent.

Thanks, I had one yesterday. They seem to be laying about 5pm is this normal? Should I leave an egg in there to encourage laying? I have been grabbing them because its so cold here (5 Deg F. this morning) .
