Well today was the big day. We had family bets going on, and nobody guessed the exact day. But the oldest son was closest, he guessed yesterday for the BIG DAY. Out of 12 Coturnix, it looks like 4 are roos. So I am building a completely new 2x3'4'' Bachelors quarters out of recycled pallets and left over hardware cloth. HIPEE. Hopefully we'll see more eggs tomorrow. Just put a new 2x2'6'' tuperware box with sand in it today and discovered the egg. I think I may have actually scared it out of her literally. The egg was still warm but it was 111 degrees outside. So who knows.
