Careful you will get webbed feet, then you and Rosie will be truly sisters, lol,,,,,,,Hi Ladies, sorry to be so quiet but I have been following all the chatter. I'm a bit confused about the next swap. Are there two sets of instructions? I agree that it would be nice to try and get similar yellows. So far we've tended towards lemon yellows. What if we go for a richer egg yolk yellow? Seems fitting since this is BYC!. I think we could use florals providing they are fresh, not dirty browns.![]()
I tried sending you an email today Kats. It was a link to today's The Quilt Show daily blog which has a great pattern of a chicken, eggs etc called 'Ester the Easter Chicken'. I was going to suggest that you put it on this site for everyone to see. I just can't get the site to work for me like this anymore. I also can click on any sites that anyone else puts up and go straight to them. I have to write them out. Well, my email to you came back to me. I seem to have 3 email addresses for you. I had an appointment at the doctors surgery so forgot about it I til I was reading BYC.
I also have a newly decorated lounge, new posh carpet ( shoes banned), new blinds, new settees! Ready for all your visits hey! We've had tons of rain in the last few days. Our dykes, drains and rivers are full. The water table is so high that my garden is just a puddle. I think it's fairly local and is probably made worse because, although we are well organised to drain land since we are at sea level, we also are the route of water flowing from the plains of York, in another huge county north of us. So we have more than our own water!
I haven't been to any of the sewing groups so far this year, not even the Sitting Ducks, as I have had a reoccurring virus which has really knocked me out. Haven't seen anyone either. I think I may be suffering from withdrawal symptoms. I just haven't been seeing much.
Oh I hope not. That doesn't sound like happy florals. Yes happy colors with eggy yolky centers.I have some Moda Bella cheddar solid maybe that would work.I think we could use florals providing they are fresh, not dirty browns.
It did cross my mind also. That is a nice block. I like it. I think it will look good in any color with like yellow in center for most of the flowers and to make it fun, make one with brown in center and yellow with green to look like sun flower.
I'm lost, happy florals? Majack meant fresh spring colors, not browns,or did I miss something?Oh I hope not. That doesn't sound like happy florals. Yes happy colors with eggy yolky centers.I have some Moda Bella cheddar solid maybe that would work.
I have a feeling I might get rolling soon. I plan on making several color ways that way when we have to swap multiples we will still get a variety.
Your in!!! will post the new linkI don't know if you are taking roll yet, but I'll participate in the Prairie Flower swap. I don't always check the blog, so please consider this my sign-in. Thanks.
