The chickens are doing great at their new home! They are so happy running around living their new chicken life. We surprisingly still got a little over 100 eggs from them today despite the stressful move!! I was quite surprised.

We just got back from checking on them and they all tucked themselves into the chicken tractor tonight. Last night we had to place them all in there. I'm so proud of them tonight. They also all sang to us too. It was super sweet.

My heart is overflowing with joy for what my dh and I have done here for these girls.

BUT I hate chicken buses! They have put countless innocent chicken wranglers out of work. The Chicken Wranglers union is planning a strike on your bus soon....

Since we're now talking about bourbon. . I drink it. A lot.

Bulleit Bourbon to be exact, it's gluten-free lol. So I drink it a lot. In fact, I'm drinking some right now. Straight from the bottle.

I trust ya'lls aren't judging me here at the bng.

The bf and I went to a concert at red rocks amphitheater last night, clutch and Mastodon played (southern metal rock) with friends.

I have a chicken roasting in the oven, gotta use up my chickens before freezer camp time, because it takes me at least a month before I can eat chicken again after I process them. By myself. The bf makes me do it alone now. Yet.. he eats the chicken. Hmm.

I only have 8 cx meaties anyways now. And those eggs I won? The donors dog smashed them on the floor, it's ok, because I got a new vintage incubator, but my bf said it needs a new circuit board or something like that.

And Linda.. of course I over exerted myself chasing that chicken for 4.5 hours. Hence.. bourbon tonight.

Under usual circumstances, I feel vodka and wine cure all... Under achy joint and feeling exhausted circumstances, bourbon is better. I too like bullet, being gf and all too. I am not celiac though, so I can sneak in the "gf because of distillation" sometimes. Not too often though. Or else I have a 3 day migraine. NOT because of amount consumed.

Anyhow, it rained all day (yay for Colorado) so my meatballs are covered in mud. They loved the worms though!!!
