Ralph what was the best looking cross that you made with Bert? I'm curious as to why i see so many posts contemplating the exact same crosses( is that es or 's??) And then nothing!!Ive started my experiment with the intention of it taking yrs.At some point my focus may change but my intentions won't (attack chickens and geese able to sniff out federal and local bureaucrats ) sustainable meat and egg producers That enjoy their lives as much as I enjoy them.

I had Bert such a short time, I only got to mix him with the rainbows... What is amazing is how different the siblings look from each other.

I'm not expecting to get a miracle strain,I just thought if you can get some of the Cx genetics mixed into crap shoot you have a better chance. Id like to get a bird hitting the 6# mark in 12wks with the body confirmation of the Cx

My toads are way ahead of that mark.

I was thinking of trying to weigh a toad. I am sure they are over 6 pounds now at 8 weeks.
