I have an old pair of crocs that are now my official coop wear.

I wear what is appropriate, Most times Flip flops are, sometimes Clogs. Sometimes shoes or boots. Mainly I wear flip flops I keep my pens clean so I can wear them in them. I almost always wear socks with the flip flops, I do not like the feel of sand on my feet.

Tomorrow 60 unlucky campers are headed to camp. I spent the day getting ready for them to make the trip. I got the cleaning table set up on the trailer. I have a ladder set up for them to bleed out from, I have the plucker on the first barrel. I have the stock tank filled with water, and I sharpened the axe.

My DW is getting me more lemonade, I have vodka and schnapps. So I think I am ready.

I even set up a new tractor and brooder for Bert Jr and his girls to move to.

That will be next spring, BUT I might take the head off one of Bert Sr,s babies tomorrow. It was looking pretty good sized today when I glanced at him.

I thought it was always socks with flip flops. Heehee.

I wear flip flops in the chick pen but when I go to pasture where there is 250+ i a pen, I wear tennies. I really don't like my toes and tops of feet pecked. For the most part my laying hens don't peck me but the meaties taught me to be careful with bare toes, feet, legs and I try to be careful about skin.
