I was out in the misting rain earlier,deciding on future pen placements. The next batch of CX will have their own dedicated pen. No more mingling for dinner

I challenge your notion of fun.. My cx have been the smartest pain in my butts I've had... These guys have broken through the netting in multiple spots.. Pushed open the retaining wall... And found their way into all other borders I have.. One cx hen will go all the way down to the end and get into my silkie brooder where she just sits and waits for me to get her out for food.. I think she likes the peace and quite lol and I don't know about you but my cx seem to have the sharpest claws/nails/talons I've ever had dug into my hand and arm... They love the free rides I give them as long as it's on their terms aka they must kick till I let them stand on my hand or arm

Lol. Mine are on a 150 x 150 pen. I don't have any issues with them. The next batch will get restricted and isolated living accommodations

Other than my Copper Marans,The broilers are the friendliest birds I've raised.

I have never had a broiler (CX) that is anything but sweet and luvable. I almost feel like I am betraying their blind trust when I eat them.
