Holm,I also bought 25 white leghorn pullets,12 whiting true blue pullets,4 whiting males. I think My wife hatched out some British Tailed Aruacana and some Blue Wheaton EE's. These are all for the blue egg side project I got going. Also bought a pair of Blue Andulusian.lol

We have a chick starter that we got for the ducklings I don't remember what the protein is on it. I'll look when I get home. Noted on the 15 minutes of feed. Would you recommend fodder for them at all?

It's my opinion. and nothing more,but I think we expect results too quickly. The broiler Industry has been at it a LONG time.They have spent bookoodles of money and had some of the brightest minds on their team. I'm not expecting to duplicate their results it's fun to try though.lol

JUST to get the blue eggs from the TYPE of bird I want to lay them,I'm guessing on at least 6yrs.Try not to get so caught up in the results. Remember why we do it. It's FUN

That's not a cross it's a Blue Andulusian,a white egg layer. McMurray sent it as a mystery chick. I think they KNOW about my OCD.Had to order a pullet to balance things out.lol

Andulusians dont have feathered feet.... It looks more like a Cochin...

lol!!!curse you McMurray!!!I'm still odd bird out!!TWICE!! I had posted pictures of it as a chick,and the consensus was a BA. Well,he can join the meat eater ranks.lol. I think he may end up being a beautiful bird.
