Right now i don't have my meat birds and egg birds separated. I'm hoping to get started on that chore soon

Cute, but not real meaty looking..

It's no CX but it looks meaty enough for 5 days old. Being hybrid, it will be larger and have better breast meat than either parent. Should be an excellent F-1 bird with multiple uses.

Considering the parent stock,there is NO telling

I save all the females regardless of the cross. Can't have too many eggs.The males will be culled HEAVILY. The only way they get to hang around is if they have something unique,be it size or coloration. I know i can't eat the feathers but the predators Do!!

My first batch are 5 weeks now and today I let them out to free range for the first time.
