Laying around the house today being lazy. My wife went to pick up one of my nephews. He calls the chickens din dins. The little runt is a whirlwind of energy. Can't help but laugh at how excited he gets over the animals. I've caught myself daydreaming of late of the day when my brood makes me a Grandpa.So many things to do,chocolate to eat.... Makes me smile. Then I think about dirty diapers and reality sets in.NO GRANPA HERE!!

When you have over 25 roosters running amok there are bound to be turf wars. Caught "Elvis" and one of the dark cornish Saipan hybrids squaring off and going at it.Neither bird hurt the other but it was a spectacular display none the less. Elvis decided that he'd rather not fight. Lol

These guys are running loose on 4-1/2 acres. In other words,they have PLENTY of room to get away from one another

the funny thing about this, is the turkeys.They break up ALL squabbles. One of the hybrids had a go at one of the turkeys. It didn't work out for him.26 turkeys chasing one rooster was a sight to see.lol
