Well my mix/cx pullet from Halloween started laying a week ago.. 5 eggs and 3 are double yolked .. so much of a flock of lizards from her

Her brothers are figuring out how to stay on long enough to mate, but the older hens reject, so hopefully the pullets from labor day will start my flock
I may go to town and get some ranger chicks tomorrow... Big R has senior day first Tue of the month LOL

Just candled some of the turkey eggs. About 50/50 on the first batch. Think it was too soon in thebreeding cycle

the fan came from a countertop rotisserie that bit the dust

the plastic tote came from Walmart. The ceramic light socket and the dimmer switch came from home depo

the reflector for the light came from one of my 4" grinders that is considerably unsafe to use NOW.Once again I do NOT recommend disabling a safety device SERIOUS INJURY COULD RESULT.
