Sorry to hear you lost a bitty. The wonky leg was most likely a slipped tendon. It happens sometimes. It can be genetic or environmental(http://www.thepoultrysite.com/publications/6/diseases-of-poultry/220/slipped-tendon-perosis/ ). Genetics cannot be helped if you are not the breeder. If you know one slipped a tendon, watch the diet(vitamins) on the others, as they may have a tendency to do the same...

thanks for the tips i have been keeping an eye on the remaining ones and no more wonky legs. They are healthy and happy, love the sun, and go crazy for food. LOL!

Our first batch was 250 CX and 80 layers. Along with 3 turkeys and 20+ ducks.
