DOES GENETICS PLAY A ROLE IN ONES SENSE OF FASHION?
My daughter has a warped sense of fashion. You should have seen the scene she threw last night. We were going to this place that has Xmas lights on display and gives out hot chocolate, cookies, marshmallows and stuff. It is a great place and they just ask for donations.
We are in the middle of a heat wave right now. It is almost 40 degrees at this moment (8am local time). I decided to dress for the occasion. I put on my best pair of long undies ( pants and shirt) in black as I knew it was a semi formal gathering. I then slipped a pair of grey shorts Bermuda's over them with a nice blue tee shirt. I cleaned my winter sandals and had black socks with no holes in them..........
Well, you should have seen her behavior!
What I want to know is it possible she can really be my daughter with a complete lack of sensibilities when it comes to fashion or should I be questioning my wife about the mailman?
Ralph- Your outfit is a popular one here in Colorado. It is a personal favorite of my 5 year old son. But usually with cowboy boots.
The times, they are a changing. Duluth is no longer a typical Midwest town... not that it ever really was. But, I still could not believe my eyes last summer when we visited. Canal Park Drive has become quite the "hip' area.
Maybe, your daughter has *gasp* fallen victim to the times changing.
I know my dad was emotionally wounded and questioned the validity of our DNA matching when I refused his tie choice at my wedding. It was shaped like a fish. Yes, I was married on a beach in Mexico, but that tie was not to be part of it.
I too, had fallen victim to times changing.
Now, however, I don't give a hoot. You should see some of the get ups my family parades around in.
Personally, I would not question your wives fidelity just yet... what with that and the craigslist ad, she may really be angry!
