If you are going to keep them, you will need to separate them.

They will not live long if you feed them the same as the other chicks. You will need to limit their feed and lower the protein in my opinion to get a long lived bird. Even with that know the genetics are against you. Several of us have nearly year old CX's, but we are the exception and not the rule. One thing we have in common is limiting their feed. They will eat themselves to death.


Rasinemright , He said they were 6 weeks old. But looking at them with other birds it appears they are CXs.
 
I would put the CX right on layer. That's what I did with my CX the second all the butcher birds were gone they went on layer.

I should say that we accidently kept her. She missed the slaughter here and missed the slaughter truck out of here. So she became a pet.
