Both of these barred rocks are slated for freezer camp

my oldest son takes it. You can see the difference in his college essays. His handwriting and style look like an entirely different person

The VA up here did some testing and found it controlled PTSD, however, they stopped prescribing it. I think it was the expense. My wife has good insurance and I get it from my doctor, but it still costs me 80 bucks a month for it.

Approximately 75% of all PTSD people have ADHD or ADD or whatever the cool acronyms are for it today. Whereas in the general population only 5-7% have ADHD or ADD. My Doc was real careful on prescribing it, I had to go through a ton of testing to see if I had ADHD which I did. I have not had a flashback or nightmare since I went on it. Life is good again. I wish I would have had it 50 years ago!

I finally decided on a name for the Slow broiler. From hence forth, let him be called "Foghorn"

He's looking good

The Poulet Galouise I had last year are a type of slow broiler, just ordered some more today.
The Roosters made 11- 12lb in 14 weeks last year, they looked ready for processing as they were getting a bit wobbly on there feet, but the hens were only about 7lb at that age and a lot healthier,
The plan is to keep some back to breed with a DC that I bred last year and gave to my pal or to use a Buff Plymouth Rock if I can source a good utility strain here in the UK.
Can't wait to get started again.

Thanks Dave,He doesn't get around as well since the geese tried to kill him.I'm not even sure he is able to breed successfully. After all he has endured though,he is safe from freezer camp.

You have my respect and admiration for ENDURING that long Ralph. When they finally got me on medication (that worked) It made a drastic difference in my mental outlook. I still have the bipolar roller coaster rides, but for the most part they are manageable.
