I finally got a broody into Foghorns pen. She has about a dozen eggs under her,half are Foghorns. I've also got a few in the incubators. Originally I wanted a modified version of a CX. Now,I just want something of Foghorn to carry on. I didn't realize how attached I've become to this bird until this evening. Came home from work and he was lying on his side. My chest got heavy I was saying awww nawww,really getting worked up. He was sleeping. I know it won't be long and I will lose him. I can tell he is getting weaker in the legs. Foghorn will be the ONLY chicken that gets buried. Really dread that day.

Spent a couple hrs this evening chunking all the RP and midget white toms out of the hen pen. Also chased down one of the Saipan hybrids and threw him out of the pen. Now it's just Mark and one tiny midget white tom with the females.

Oh JR he doesn't have to talk me into them. He could mention having extras and I quickly PM him We love going to visit him and have loved every bird we have ever got from him!
