What are your intentions? Will you process at 6 to 8 weeks?

The more room you give them the less problems they will have(and you) Do NOT free feed,they wiil eat till they can't move. Have the water well away from the feed.You want them to move around as much as possible. They will act like they are starving at all times. Resist the urge to give them all the want.

CX are wonderful birds. If you MANAGE them correctly. Most people who have problems do not take the genetics into consideration. They ARE NOT normal chickens. They have an insatiable appetite that fuels extremely fast growth an weight gain

I'm not getting Cornish X. I don't exactly know what breed, only that it has a similar growth rate.

NOTHING repeat NOTHING has a similar growth rate to CX.

There are slow grow lines of CX. I've had good results with Welp Hatcheries line

CX can hit 6 to 7 pounds in as many weeks. I believe the slow grow variety takes 12 to 16 weeks. My experience, 16 weeks

Make sure you provide them with vitamins in the water 24/7. If you do not, the tendons can slip, the feet may curl, growth issues.
