First Run of Cornish Cross Meat Birds and Super Excited!

I culled one of my Buckeye roosters last night and am really happy with the carcass size. I haven't weighed it yet but he is pretty chunky. Lots of thigh and leg meat on him.
 
I will probably skin the remainder of my birds. That's a well proportioned bird Holm

He is very well proportioned. I have to get the scale out and see what the carcass weighs. I am thinking he was 10-11 pounds live weight? Not sure. He was a big guy though. Too bad I couldn't find him a good home.
 
Well it was only a 5 1/2 pound carcass. Not terrible but smaller than i had hoped.
 
No!!! You guys are so wrong, the perfect carcass is 15 pounds!!!
Okay, I forgot to take a picture of this CX pullet before I put marinade on her.
I got a few fertile eggs from her before I decided to cull her.
Skinned weight 10 pounds.
I will take another pic when she comes out of the marinade!
