On the 4th I put my first 4 bobwhite eggs in incubator for sentimental reasons, because they were the first ever for me. 6 days later I have 16 in fridge. So I recon I will start setting out this weekend for next batch to go into 56 egg incubator. Had to see if any of first are fertile. We’ll see what these 16 hens and 6 roos will put out.

Thought incubation was 14-18, now researching goggle says bobwhites are 23-24 days. What the answer folks? Thanks...

Yes, bobwhites do have a longer incubation period. Buttons are 16 days, Coturnix 18 days, and all other quail species take at least 22 days.

Okay. Thank you! Didn’t want to take out egg turner too soon.
