I am setting my first eggs of the year today, there are 4 of them. Three from one pen with an India Blue hen, IB male and a Black Shoulder hen also one from a pen with a pied hen and a male that is split pied or white. It is really weird because one of the hens laid yesterday and today. The egg I collected today and the egg I collected yesterday from the same pen look the same they have purplish spots, the third egg from that pen I a whiter color.
