First shell less egg?

So my hen was in the nesting box for longer than usual and when she finally came out she dropped this shell less egg. This never happened before and the egg yesterday was completely normal. She eats layer crumble with the oyster strong system and also has a grit feeder. Why did this happen? Is she okay? What do I need to do? Thank you.

As long as she's acting okay, she should be fine. I've gotten several shell-less eggs in my 4 years of owning chickens and they were all okay. It just happens sometimes. It sounds like you are providing enough calcium so it just sounds like a glitch in her system.

Ya she’s free ranging, gracing on grass and bugs, running around with her friends and dust bathing like usually. Thank you!
