First Silkie Hatch-a-long!

Pics
She’s alive and hatching

We’ve a few more pips and lots of tapping and chirping this morning. The Cochin mix the pipped last night is working very hard to get out.
Omg 2 of my chicks pipped on the side away from the air cell too. Luckily they both lived.
I had 2 not pip internally. I couldnt tell from candling. I put a tiny hole in the air cell and liquid came out. i knew that wasnt good. I was so sad. unfortunately by the time i figured it out it was too late 😥 BUT i have 5 healthy ones. I also think that lowering the humidity for this hatch had a lot to do with it. So i am going back to 50° then 70° for lockdown.

I’ve got two eggs left that haven’t hatched. How long should I wait it out. We’re at day 22.
You can candle them and check for movement or see if they’ve even pipped into the air cell.
You can also just let them sit in incubator until DAY 24 or 25 if you want to be on the safe side.

The air cells are still in tact and I can't see any movement. I will give them till tomorrow to be extra sure.
