First snow

My flock is happy again raking leaves and free ranging under the trees ect. The 2" of snow melted with the sleet/rain mix and worms are a plenty!

Yeah, the feathery fiends are out terrorizing the neighborhood once more. Fortunately it is open pasture/woodland on one side of me the belongs to a farmer who does not care if chickens rake the leaves and a chicken friendly neighbor on the other. My flock is welcome on both sides of me and is now exploring the open areas between the awful white stuff.
