alll of my chickens been laying for 2 months now, and never any eggs with soft shells. today i think two of my chickens laid soft shell eggs because there were two broken soft shell eggs, one was white and another that was tinted pastel green ish. is there something i should be worrying about, or does this happen to chickens once in a while? i always have a tray where i put oyster shells that my chickens can eat whenever they need it. so i dont think theyre lacking calcium.

This will happen especially when they start laying.
I tohught it was unusual beacuse their first eggs had very hard shells, and few days ago one of my olderchcikens attacked my little chcikens eye..which got a little infected and started having tiny bit of foam on the corner.

They can always pop out a softie once in a while, it doesnt always have to be the very first in a young laying hen. Its like a quirk in their cycle. If you're concerned you can always feed them back their crushed egg shells for extra calcium.
