I have a chocolate hen (she has a little white, does this mean she is pied?) and a black pied drake. They bred and did their thing, and she was soon sitting on a nest of 10 eggs. She stayed on the nest like a devoted mama and hatched all 10! After having to kill many predators in the area, I thought it best to take the ducklings and raise them instead of leaving her with the chance of losing her life or losing some ducklings.
Anyway, my question would be, what color would my ducklings be from this breeding? I have 2 solid brown with a slightly yellow chest, 1 solid brown with a little yellow chest and yellow wing tips, 3 colored like mallard ducklings, and 4 that are brownish black (hard to really tell) and yellow. I will post pictures soon. What color will these babies turn out to be? I've tried searching on here and on google without much luck.

Thank you!

If anyone has any guesses as to their color, I would be very thankful!

Can anyone help me? I know I don't post often to the duck thread as I don't have many ducks, but I'm just trying to figuee out which colors are which. All of them will be staying on my farm, so I'm not asking for advertising help. I'm just curious.

I see some Chocolates, Chocolate Pied's, and I've heard that some of those ducklings that look like Chocolates will end up Black Pied.
They are uber cute too!
