First the poultry, now the rats are sick

Ok I got feed from a different supplier. I did notice little round poops in my previous feed. I spoke with an old timer poultry producer and he said that the majority of poultry diseases are contact spread, e.g. manure, not airborne. He said I need to relocate or cull all the chickens, disinfect the coop thoroughly with tektrol and let the barn air out for several weeks.
