I bought some little black and yellow chicks from TSC at the beginning of April... I was told then they were black Austrolorps. As they got a little older, after reading the forum here, they have yellow on the bottom of their feet, so I realized they were JG's.... About a month ago, they started developing some gold patterned feathering on their backs (all 3 are roos) and some white lacing between their breast and leg area. The legs are almost all yellow now. What are these guys? 2 of them have more than the 3rd roo, but they have bright green sheen in the black feathers as well, although it doesnt show well in the pics, and light brown "eyebrows." They are very fancy with all of these colors!
I have a couple of hens, and I am assuming they are production reds, they were tan as chicks, but would love someone else's input... Here is one, they are pretty much identical
