first time at chicken raising. any help app.for newbies to this adventure. I'm sooo excited

I picking them up today. I'll send pics and hopefully someone can give me more info. When I get them and fix atub for them should I leave them in my coop or bring them inside in the type till bigger?

From what i understand as a newbie if the are 3-4 months old they can go without heat if temps are moderate and can go straight into coop. Someone more experienced please confirm. Also find out how they have been kept up till now. Some of mine are 4 weeks and do not use a lamp. When my coop is done in a week or so they are going in coop.
 
Sorry should have said that the rest of mine are 2 weeks and in brooder in garage and use a lamp 2 feet away at night only. Im in Florida so daytime temps are mod 80s

Cool, send some pics and we can probably help you. Magicstorm is right, if they are 3+ months they can go out to the coop, if it's still below about 60 I suggest either having straw for bedding or putting a heat lamp out with them. If it's above 60, then they'll be fine with just wood shavings. Oh and lamp at night too. :)
