Hey BYC,

First off, I want to thank everyone on this site who has asked questions before I signed up. This site has been a huge help with raising my button quail thus far. I just got them about 3 weeks ago at the age of 4 weeks, and they've been great. I've got two of them, one male and a female. The male's name is chad, and the female is named Loki (She has proven to be a devious trickster). I have to say that my favorite part of keeping them thus far has been their vocalizations, though other people in the house probably think that's their worst aspect. The female is a silver, and the male is a wild.

I'm not really interesting, I just work at a pet store and play video games in my free time.

Hello there and welcome to BYC! :frow

Quail are so much fun to keep. Lots of personality in a tiny package! Have you stopped by our Quail section yet? https://www.backyardchickens.com/forums/quail.48/

This is honestly my first pet experience, and they're certainly making it a good one. Most of the images I have of them were in the temporary 20 gallon breeder I had on hand. I've since moved them to a big ole' gerbil cage they can actually run around and jump in.
