I am so stoked. We made it through having 2 broody hens. The first one hatched out 6 eggs and we have 4 chicks now from her clutch. They hatched on the first and all are doing great and growing like weeds! The second broody hatched out 6 chicks from her clutch but we have 3 left from them and they hatched on the 10th. They are also doing great. The mamas were awesome setters and have been amazing mamas so far to these babies. We have them in the main coop and each one has a special area set up with it's own feeder and waterer so the chicks can eat chick food. We got a few pics today too. I will post photos of the first set the first day and then today and then I will post a pic of the 2nd set. One of the first ones took off across the coop so it missed the photo shoot though. I have no idea what they are going to look like or even which eggs came from which hen lol. But I know they are all either SLW crossed with EE roo or NH Red crossed with EE roo. I do know that in the second pic the little one on the left definitely has EE legs lol.
