Our 1 year old blue silkie went broody, so we bought 6 eggs hoping she would hatch, we are on day 23 now and still no sign of anything, and she has no signs of moving off the eggs, I have called locals to try and find day olds to replace the eggs, no luck at all, I don't want her to sit any longer than she has to and I feel that I should take her off, my question is how do I go about it?

I was thinking of that but I feel so guilty because she has protected them so much, then I researched that she may not even accept day olds and could kill them
