I will have ventilation. That big window will have hardWare cloth so can stay open a lot. And I’m putting in two vents in each side and then another in the roof.

The roof will have overhang. I’m not done with it yet. Ans the floor is supported by 2x4s. My wife and I have been standing on it while building so I think it’ll hold the chickens. Dimensions are 4x8.

I guess I might need to buy some pre made exterior nesting boxes? I still have to figure out where I want the roosting bars and the feed and water to go.

I thought the big window was your nesting boxes

Big window is to allow a lot or air and sunlight in as much as possible. I know even with hardware cloth it still needs to stay closed at night though. The opposite side of the window will be the run which still may be doable—I would just have to open door into run to get eggs which i would kind of like to avoid. I could maybe put a couple on either side of the window and then 2 roosting bars in back

Your birds will need ventilation even more at night than in the day.

Maybe make that opening into the nest boxes and put windows on the run side. As long as the run is predator proof they can stay open that way.

To calculate it...

Open inches wide times length of open inches long and divide by 12 to get square footage of venting.

I am a strong believer in open soffits which your coop is not set up to accommodate but are very helpful in getting warm moist air to move up and out through a ridge vent.

It depends on how wide the gap is on either side of the ridge is. But as pointed out by @21hens-incharge , you don't have a ridge or rafters or load bearing studs to support the ridge and rafters.
It looks cute but it is far from structurally sound.

I know I’m not a carpenter and it could be better, but “not sound”? It’s on 4x4 treated posts. And there are also 2x4s cross ways helping to support the roof. It seems sturdy enough to me. But I might be way wrong. I’ll keep working on it and time will tell I guess.

Anything that you close at night is supplemental ventilation that doesn't count towards the 1 square foot of permanent, 24/7/365 ventilation per bird which, speaking from North Carolina and knowing that Mississippi is even hotter and more humid, will not be adequate.

In this 4'x8' Outdoor Brooder I put in 16 square feet of permanent ventilation, 10 square feet of supplemental ventilation, and still had to put a picnic fly over it to keep the temperature below 100F on a 93F day.

A ridge cap provides no ventilation at all.

Each square foot is 144 square inches. So 8 feet of this vent is 1 square foot.
