Here are a few things that might help them to start laying!
1. Mix cayenne pepper in with their mash.
2. Put a heat lamp in their coop.
Hope this helps.
Not trying to hijack but, why does cayenne help them lay? And do you mean the cayenne pepper that's in the spice jar? The ground up powdery stuff?

Before my first flock started laying, I used to go out there every hour and check! I'm glad to see I am not the only one that checks expectantly. Now my new group is 11 weeks old today. I'm afraid I'll be doing that again when they're about 20 weeks or so. Matter of fact, yesterday I went down and saw one "nesting" in the bedding and I thought..... "could it be????.....nah, they're only 11 weeks old....." But I moved her and checked anyway. And of course it wasn't an egg, but it got me all revved up anyway. Silly me.

Sorry, but it was just a coincidence! Feeding them layer food won't "get them laying". It will only provide them the nutrition they need to produce healthy eggs.
Yes, the ground up cayenne pepper in your kitchen in fine, it acts as a de-wormer apparently but as for egg production i'm not sure but i am giving it a go
I just let them out for 15 minutes why i had my lunch, they had a quick dust bath then casually pecked around my garden, they love the sun
Haha, Yeah i over check them in a bid to hurry them along but i guess they will decide for them selves :L
Thankyou for the Info on their breed, I thought they were but just wanted to double check!
One thing is for certain, their poo is alot bigger than it used to be!
My hen started laying one week after she started squatting. Yes it is exciting. I'm getting half a dozen eggs a day from my eight hens. As of lately I have been getting some double youk eggs. They are huge, they bottom out my egg scale, and are so big the egg carton won't close. I've been trying to get a picture posted, but I have been having some computer problems. You should be having eggs for breakfast by next weekend.

Yes, that stuff! I haven't tryed it yet but there is a forum on Cayenne pepper!!!
My youngest white leghorn to lay was 17 weeks old. Her sisters were 21 or 22 weeks old. So yours should start any day. The red sex-link should be shortly thereafter, and you should be getting a ton of eggs from them. Both will be great layers!
