I am a first time chicken mommy. My babies were born on Monday June 13, 2011. My husband picked 1 Barred Plymouth Rock, my 6yo daughter picked 1 Buff Orphington and I picked 1 White Plymouth Rock. They are named after characters from Lord of the Rings. Pippin (Barred Rock) Merry (White Rock) & Smegul (Buff Orphington). Here are their pics 1 day old.
