First time chicken owner in Kentucky!

Hello!! I have wanted chickens for a long time and finally was talked into it by my 9 and 6 year olds! We now have 6 hens, 2 of them are Bantams, and I could not be more happy with our chickens!! They are so much fun and full of personality!!! They are also extremely friendly!! They come running when they see me, I can pick them up, pet them, they follow me around the yard and jump on my lap when I sit outside. They have been such a great experience so far and are giving us wonderful eggs! The Bantam eggs are the cutest things I have ever seen! We are thinking about doing 4-H with the Bantams. I have more coming in October and we can't wait to get them. I hope they are just as friendly as the ones we have now.

I think your avatar is one of the most adorable ones I've seen on here.
Your chickens sound great! Ours are kind of like that too, except they get a bit touchy when I try to pick them up.
