You Guys are amazing! Thanks for all the advice!
we are trying a few things- the yard is strung with fishing line. Which is interesting for me since they free range in our back yardand I'm the tallest in the house! Had to make sure I strung it as high as I could. There are also cds hanging all around, spinning like crazy and hopefully scaring things away. And today we pick up our rooster. We have been really lucky in that we got our original 5 from a great family that raises chickens for eggs and enjoyment so we have really well socialized birds. Even luckier when I called them to ask their advice and they offered a rooster that had been with our little flock when they lived there. Can't wait ro bring him home today and start reintroducing everyone...don't worry, I'm studying up oin the section about introducing new feathered friends!
